Traces of Us | Short Documentary

Traces of Us is a quiet, reflective short film about memory, objects, and the small details that shape who we are. Filmed across different locations and brought together through a shared visual style, the documentary blends black‑and‑white imagery with selective colour to highlight personal objects that hold emotional weight. Made through remote collaboration, the film uses simple tools, long takes, and gentle sound to keep the focus on people’s voices and lived experiences. Each contributor speaks in their own words, creating an honest and intimate atmosphere. This project was created as part of an MA Film & Television module, exploring collaboration, ethics, and creative decision‑making.
