Ramshaw: Echoes in Stone Captured at dawn in the Peak District.

Ramshaw: Echoes in Stone is a quiet, atmospheric short film that follows the first light as it spills across the rugged gritstone outcrops of Ramshaw Rocks. Using drone and handheld footage, the piece explores how shifting colour, mist, and shadow reveal the ancient landscape’s texture and mood. Filmed solo and entirely self-directed, the project reflects my fascination with the dialogue between place and memory. The slow pacing, subtle camera movements, and natural soundscape invite viewers to pause and feel the stillness of the moor at sunrise, where time seems to stretch and the rocks hold stories older than we can tell.
